Our class arose in the early hours to hopefully (and I say hopefully because we were supposed to take this journey the day before, but alas our quest for knowledge was delayed because, well, so was our tour guide) begin our nice, easy, brisk walk into the jungle to see Howler Monkeys, The Big Tree, and a nice waterfall on our return.  Being that this would be our first real hike through the wilderness on our trip, with eager hearts we began our journey into the wild which would reveal the true beauty of the world around us.  We were only half right.....  We did see the beauty that the natural world holds around us, but we also saw the treacherousness that lies beneath as well.  We blazed our own trail through the wilderness to see, and hear, the wondrous Howler Monkeys.  We dodged razor sharp spines as big as daggers, climbed up the sides of mountains with our hands and feet, and clung to the earth for dear life so as not to tumble to our deaths....  Well, not really, but if we fell it would still hurt, A LOT!!!  We all made it through our tough and dangerous adventure through the wild, and were rewarded with many wondrous sights and sounds along the way.  Not only will all of us remember all of the beautiful sights that we beheld this day, but also we will remember the price that our bodies paid in sweat and blood and broken bones....  Ok, so there were no broken bones, or even blood, but there was sweat, lots and lots of sweat....
