Day 3: mat385

The day after a "Discussion" day is a day to
1. catch up from the section discussion, and
2. work on home work problems.
That's what we'll be doing today.
Homework due dates: homework will be due two class periods after it is discussed in class. Hence, the problems associated with section 1.1 will be due on Wednesday of next week.
Remember, however, that we will use a probabilistic approach to collecting homework: with .5 probability I will pick it up. Be ready!
