• Whoa! Sorry for scaring you with that first assignment! I've got the problem numbers right, but didn't mean to assign every part of every problem! A new assignment sheet will follow, but here are the first two sections:

  The assignment to be handed in for Wednesday (Section 1.1) is:
  1, 2(b,d), 3, 4, 5(a), 6(a,b), 8(a,c), 10(b,c), 11(a,d), 14(b,d,i), 26(a,c), 29, 30, 31, 37, 39

  The assignment for Section 1.2 is unchanged.

  • Homework set #1 will be due next Wednesday, and collected at the beginning of the hour. Any questions about the homework should come before class! I will not entertain last minute questions before the homework is handed in. In general, homework is due one week after it is assigned, except when a holiday or other situation dictates.
