Today: Pythagorean Triples (encore!) and Fermat's Last Theorem

• Change in plans:
  • We're not going to cover Section 12.1-2, in favor of finishing Pythagorean triples and Fermat's last theorem (in time for the third exam).
  • Homework 11.1 will be due Thursday.
  • Homework 11.2 will be part of the exam (one problem will be selected).
  • We'll devote two periods to Fibonacci, on 4/21 and 4/26. I want to make sure that we cover Fibonacci in detail.

• Return homework 7.5, part b (problems 11, 12)

• Collect homework 10.2
