- Hand back homework 1.3. Graded 1, #6(a, b), 18a-d
  - #1: You do need to do something more than write TFFT. You need to justify your answers. Some of you did a very nice job of this, by the way, e.g. Chris W.
    What's the chance that someone would get the right answer randomly? What's the chance that they would give the correct response of two T and two F, but in any order? The answer is in Pascal's triangle.
    Some of you forgot that the domain was integers.
  - #6: it's about the scope of the quantifiers -- and free variables.
  - 18c: many of you got this wrong.
    - Wrong: all women love all handsome men.
    - Correct: all women love only handsome men, or they love nothing at all.
- Your 1.4 homework is due today. Let's take a look at one with an eye to reflecting on section 2.1: #16, p. 61. Thanks to Zach H. and Allie for bringing this to my attention!
