1: some of you wrote "5, 10, 15, 20, ..., 5n". That's
not enough! We need to verify. Fact: you can
give me any finite sequence and I'll make one that
matches it on that finite part but is different from
yours on the rest.

Your first exam is Wednesday, over chapters 1-3.
It's a lot of sections, but there will be a little bit from each one.
I do not promise that these will reflect our exam well
(although it wouldn't surprise me). I may glance at them before
I write our exam -- and I may not.
Bring a calculator, and you can have a single-sided page
of notes.
