In our "presentation page" I
provide a rough outline of how I have conceived this in the
past. Usually we have a poster session, so this is quite
different in some ways. On the other hand, it's a lot easier in
many ways.
As I was reflecting on this today, I sketched out an outline
which you might consider following (but if anyone bullet points
this, I'd be really unhappy that I ever mentioned it). It just
gives you an idea for a flow, but don't follow it to the
letter:
Your story (a thing of beauty):
- Early life:
- earliest experience with mathematics and statistics,
STEM, etc.
- through high school:
- personal influences
- historical influences
- favorite subjects
- favorite problems
- More recent experiences (college)
- Career thoughts
- Reflections on your studies
- what's been good
- what could have been better?
- Related experiences
- What's next?
- Spotlight on a piece of mathematics
