GIS and Spatial Data handling

Summary

This module comes in two parts, which we distinguish as

  1. the quick and dirty introduction to GIS and GIS data, and
  2. the role of spatial statistics in GIS.
They are effectively independent, although the lab corresponding to this module is more relevant to the first. Without further ado, therefore, we present
