Scenario:
The investigator uses a spatial statistical test to determine whether
there is an excess of cases in the vicinity of the drycleaners. This test
requires a parameter for the radius of the suspected cluster. Unsure of
exactly what the radius might be, the investigator runs the test 10 times
using different radii in each analysis. One of the analyses returns a
p-value of 0.035. The other 9 tests have p-values greater than 0.05.
Question:
- Is there a statistically significant clustering of cases?
