The Faculty Summer Institute on Information Literacy is a significant component of the Information Literacy Discipline Ambassador Program. All faculty members selected as Discipline Ambassadors will be expected to attend the Summer Institute, where they will develop a plan to revise at least one course to integrate information literacy.
The first cohort of Discipline Ambassadors attended the Faculty Summer Institute on Information Literacy on June 26th-28th, 2018. During the Institute, the Ambassadors worked with information literacy experts from Steely Library to learn more about information literacy and to develop draft plans for revising at least one course to integrate information literacy. In addition, ambassadors began the process of developing plans for integrating information literacy into their program or department.
