GEARUP with Information Literacy was the university’s Quality Enhancement Plan from 2019-2024. During that time, more than 30 courses were revised to incorporate IL concepts/assessments and numerous resources were developed to support IL education.
SACSCOC approved NKU’s impact report on the QEP in 2025. The report reflects the meaningful work that the NKU community engaged in over the year to ensure NKU students gain critical information literacy skills. While the QEP has wrapped up, GEAR continues to frame the educational goals of Steely Library.
