       Monday: 12:00-3:00pm
      Tuesday:  8:30am-2:00pm and 5:00-7:30pm
    Wednesday: 12:00-3:00pm
     Thursday:  8:30am-2:00pm and 5:00-7:30pm
    

• First 30 minutes: answering your questions. Questions from sections 5.1 or 5.2? Some possible topics:
  • Summation formulas
  • Limits of summations (power sums)
  • Putting these formulas into your calculator.
  • Definition of the Riemann sum (a function of three variables! See p. 262).
  • Definition of the definite integral.
  • Properties of the definite integral.
  • ???

• Next 25 minutes: you will consider the data given in this graphic, concerning diagnoses of HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases among homosexual men:
