Day 5, Mat119: Pre-Calculus

I graded 4 problems, chosen randomly (well, two from each section, chosen randomly). I'm sampling your work. I hope that, over the course of the semester, it will be a representative sample. That is, I hope that the sample will adequately represent the quality of your homework.

Some comments on your homework:

1. Justify your answers, when possible.
2. Show your work! I don't mind seeing your scratchwork -- that way, I can figure out what you did wrong, and hopefully we can correct it.
3. Some of you didn't do your first homework. That's getting off on the wrong foot. Keep up!
4. Some of you came by my office for help. Wonderful! That's to be encouraged.
5. Some of you used the calculus lab -- wonderful!
